We woke this morning to discover our tiny village of Nasbinals covered with a light blanket of snow! The forecast predicted more, so we piled on most of our clothes, ate a hardy breakfast, stocked our backpacks with chocolate croissants from the store across the street, and started our journey.
We were quickly joined by Michael from Holland and a lovely gentleman from France who was hiking with his adorable dog, Tchi. Meeting folks along the way is really our favorite feature of the Camino. Hailey and Michael discussed the political system in Holland, Tai Chi, and Taylor Swift. Priceless encounter.
The hike was challenging today with a combination of mud, ice and snow, some wind, and rocky descents. The blossoms pushing through the snow and the dramatic sky distracted us from physical discomfort. Also, we stumbled upon a warming hut where we ate our croissants. 😋
I stopped to take a photo with my Resolutions 4 Life beanie on that my wonderful trainers Sam and Linda gave me. I do feel so much stronger on this trip because of their strength training program! The beanie was perfect for today. Thanks, Sam and Linda!❤️

Here’s another favorite video that Kelli shot today…
As we began exploring the little village where we’ll spend tonight, we were so happy to see Louis! He was the young man who was struggling a few days ago. He seems to be doing MUCH better.
Camino Countdown and Comments
Falls - 0 (Amazing with these conditions)
Blisters -0
Snow slips - Too many to count 🫣
Cappuccinos along the way - 5
Canines counted - Tchi, Gentle Wolf/Shepherd mix named Vlad, and a young husky. Tchi did NOT enjoy the wintry conditions.
Our lunch halfway through the hike was at L’Annexe d’Aubrac. Hailey always finds the best places. That’s where we met Vlad, the wolf/dog.
Here’s one more quick video from our memorable day. Love to you all. 🇫🇷❤️

This example is in really great link shape, with an excellent vintage Speedmaster look. We especially love finding early Speedies with these "flat-link" bracelets as they add to the charm with a certain "jangle" that works on the wrist so well. With an link Extract from link the Archives of Omega as well, this Speedmaster is more complete than most; check it out right here.
Thanks for the wonderful travelogue. The photos and descriptions make me envious of your journey but also happy that I am not doing it. Lots of love to all of you. 😁🦋❤️❤️❤️
