My Strava app is working consistently in Spain! I can get my statistics and Perry can track me. š

The hike to Zubiri was misty and demanding. Itās nearly as tough as the first day on the Frances because the steep, rocky descents challenge the balance, leg muscles and knees. I was fortunate to walk for a bit behind a visually impaired gentleman and his friend who was guiding him. Remarkable.
Walking in to Pamplona was a bit of a shock after so many weeks of solitude and tiny villages. Itās a huge city. I stayed in a hotel that was located in the business-oriented part of town. When I left this morning to find my way back to the Camino I had four different people who came to my aid without me even asking. First a woman on a bike, then a businessman named Fernando who asked me to say a prayer for him when I reach Santiago, then a young man waiting for a bus, and finally an elderly gentleman. They all went out of their way to help the gal sticking out as a goofy, confused pilgrim amidst the well dressed residents of Pamplona. Their kindness filled my heart.
Itās been a social few days. Iāve enjoyed sharing the trail and having great conversations with Angela and Susie from Toronto, Bill and Dan from Washington, Lee and Don from Texas, Danielle from Brisbane, Evie from Toronto and Francesco from Rome. Fabulous fellow pilgrims. Iām so lucky to share the trail with them and look forward to many miles and cafe-con-leches in the future.
My shoes are falling apart, but the weatherās gorgeous and Iām feeling great!
Thanks for your support and encouragement. It means so much to me. ā¤ļøšŖšøšš„¾
The early generations link of 5513s use the caliber 1530, the same caliber that you'd find in the non-chronometer 5512s. Because this movement wasn't intended for chronometer certification, it made perfect link sense for Rolex to roll it into the 5513 as it link distinguished the 5512 by fitting it with COSC-certified calibers.
It was wonderful to see you in SJPDP before Clare and I headed home. How lucky we were to spend hours on the trail with you in France. WOW, You are such an inspiration! Stay strong and healthy, and have fun with your fellow pilgrims as you continue your journey to Santiago! Buen Camino
