It’s been a lovely few days made even better by the folks I’ve met along the way.
1 - Camino Angel
My Spanish drug supplier. He heard me asking for directions to a pharmacy because I’m out of Ibuprofen. The next one was 12km away so he told me to wait and ran off. He returned with an Ibuprofen for me and refused to be paid. He gave me a hug and a kiss on my sweaty cheek. Such a sweetie!🥰

2 - The Dean Family
I met the Deans as they watched and chuckled at my ibuprofen acquisition. Amy and Russ are co-pastors at a progressive Baptist church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Parkroadbaptist.org
Lovely, musically talented family who are such fun to hike with. Trumpet players!

The weather has been good, the miles have been long, and I’ll get a rest day in Burgos after I arrive tomorrow.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from the past few days…
Typical Camino Day:
Awake at 5 - coffee, pack, breakfast, gear-up
Hiking by 7:15
Arrive to destination by 2 or so
Find hotel and have a big meal
Have a look around the village - Do laundry
Asleep by 7 ( Yes, 10 hrs sleep is perfect after a 15 mile day. 😴)
Repeat ❤️
I’m grateful for the patience and kindness of the Spanish folks I meet and my fellow pilgrims.
Buen Camino!🇫🇷🥾❤️🎶😴

The line at Toronto's Eaton's Center wrapped around Yonge St and link then progressed beyond the length of the entire shopping center. Inside, at the Swatch boutique, the staff were forming a link contact list for future availability. Word among the crowd was that there were less than 100 units available when the doors opened this link morning. Our man James Stacey described the mood as "cold, wet, and hopeful."
Susan, I just love hearing your stories about the camaraderie on the Camino. So wonderful how everyone assists each other. Also, thank you for posting what a normal (?) day’s schedule is like as I’d been curious what time your morning begins. You are amazing! Buen Camino! 🇪🇸❤️😁😬😎
Thanks for all of your posts and photos. They are wonderful and help “us stay at home” folk visualize your journey. Enjoy! Enjoy! 😁🦋❤️
Love your adventures
