31-33 Pilgrim a cappella

I was approaching a tiny chapel and heard lovely music; when I entered I realized it was 3 pilgrims harmonizing a capella. ❤️🎶🥰
I’m over 338 miles into my journey and the Pyrenees mountains that I’ll need to cross are in sight. I’m on my way!

There are fewer pilgrims on this stretch so I’ve had lots of solo hiking time. Sometimes I’ll go an hour without seeing anyone. There’s always beauty to appreciate in the landscapes and architecture.
The muddiness has abated for the most part, but we still have challenging moments. This crossing was gnarly. Thank goodness a kind French pilgrim was there to coach us across. No falls for me!

I’m feeling strong and so thankful that I can take on an adventure like this. Here’s the song I sang hiking across the fields:
