We have arrived at the starting point of our hike, Le Puy en Velay, France. We begin our trek bright and early tomorrow morning following a Pilgrims’ Mass at the cathedral. The city is stunning, gorgeous architecture, monuments, and landscape everywhere you look. No wonder Le Puy was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We got in a great pre-hike warm-up today wandering the cobblestone streets and many hills of the city. Kelli and Hailey dared the steep ascents that included a winding staircase within a statue of the Virgin Mary and Jesus. Susan remained on solid ground documenting their bravery from afar.

We ended the day at a reception to welcome new Camino pilgrims. We were the only Americans attending; all the other pilgrims were French. We met Charlotte and Camille who were so kind to teach us a few helpful phrases. We hope to see them again on our way tomorrow.

Bon Camino! ❤️🥾🇫🇷

The TAG Heuer link Carrera Glassbox is not only my favorite sport watch, but it's also one of the most exciting watches of the year, link full stop. From the 39mm case size to the fully reconfigured crystal and internal bezel design — this proved more than just a product refresh and instead something more akin to an ideological one by the brand. In the past, TAG had reserved "wearable" vintage-adjacent or reissue models link for the "Heuer" variety.

It was wonderful experiencing the Camino with you both. You are tough, tough hikers and inspirational history buffs. Your curiosity enhanced that entire section of the hike for me! I hope you’ve got the Camino bug now because there’s so much more to see. Bon Chemin and Buen Camino! 😘🇫🇷🥖🍷❤️
