Cool, breezy weather and charming villages along the way made the miles a little easier. Pilgrims are comparing sunburns rather than muddy pants. I met Sarah from Boston and Alex from South Africa along the way and we all relaxed at a pilgrim oasis that we happened upon. Fruit and cold drinks revived us and we walked on next to wheat fields lined with poppies
I came upon a worrisome scene that involved Evie and some officers. I assumed there had been an incident, but the Guarda Civil were just checking in with pilgrims and offering to stamp our pilgrim credentials. They also presented us with colorful commemorative bracelets.

Leaving Estella there’s a famous wine fountain where pilgrims can sample the local wine for free! The wine was a fizzy rosé. Delicious
18+ miles to Logrono completed and now I have a rest day! It’s become so much fun to arrive at a village, find the coffee shop, and discover what pilgrims I know are there. It’s definitely a community. ❤️
Sending love from Spain!

Back in my early days of buying and selling link anything I could afford on WatchUSeek’s sales forum, I developed a soft spot for Tutima’s Pacific and Di 300 link series divers, which offered a compelling mix of Germanic modernity, good specs, a reasonable price, and in the case of the link Di 300, the option of brightly colorful dials in yellow and orange. The formula is relatively simple, a solid, toolish dive watch form but with a dial begging for sand, surf, ample bottom time, and beer-chilled sunsets.
Poppies!!
Susan I love all your photos and stories of reuniting with pilgrims you had previously met. So nice. The pic of the house covered with flowers and grapevines (?) is so beautiful. Buen Camino! 😎❤️🍷🍇🇪🇸
Love seeing the red poppies again! What a community of like minded, passionate, and welcoming pilgrims. ♥️🤗
