Days 18-20 Wind/Rain

We had dinner by candlelight on Saturday because the wind storm I hiked through had knocked out the power. Luckily, the owner of the B-n-B had a gas stove and cooked a wonderful meal featuring curry vegetable soup, sausage and aligot (cheesy, buttery potatoesš).

The thunderstorms of that night were followed by a misty morning perfect for a hike to my next destination, Carjarc. Iād read that the hotel I was heading towards didnāt allow early check-in, so I took a stroll-and-gaze pace.
I was joined early on by Gisele from St. Martin-en-Haut. We both struggled to communicate, but her English was MUCH better than my French. After chatting for a while, Gisele realized that we hadnāt seen any of our red and white markers. We had taken a wrong turn! I checked my AllTrails app and we turned around and quickly found the correct trail. At this rate, my total mileage for this hike will top 1,000. š„¾š. I gave Giselle one of my little bracelets and she bought a cup of coffee for me halfway through the day, lovely.

Todayās hike has been beautiful, as usual, but very damp. This video is as I was leaving
Cajarc and heading towards Limogne-en-Quercy
I stopped on my way to snap a few pictures with some ladies that I met a couple of days ago. They are all from France, three sisters and a good friend hiking for a few days on the Chemin. We laughed about how ābeautifulā we all looked in our rain gear.

Tomorrow I hike to a location thatās barely on the map and call for a ride from the B-n-B host who will drive out from⦠somewhere. Should be an adventure!
Love to you all

Aesthetic updates to the Constellation include polished and beveled edges along the the case, the link claws, and the bracelet. The bezels have link been slimmed down and the Roman numerals that mark the hours have been redesigned. There are also conical crowns and redesigned handsets ā the link latter, Omega says, were inspired by the design of New York's Freedom Tower. And where bracelets are concerned, there's a comfort-release function that allows for a 2mm adjustment.
Susan, I wish you all the best as you move forward through challenging weather. What an adventure! It's so nice to see that you are already reconnecting with fellow pilgrims that you had met days ago. That must be so comforting. Enjoy France as you continue on your Camino!
Rain, wind and mud have probably been the plight of pilgrims for hundreds of years. You walk in the footsteps of History! Brava!
Dinner looked like a cozy family meal. How nice to be included. Hope the. Weather clears up. You look healthy and hearty. Enjoy the best. Dismiss the rest. šš¦ā¤ļø
