This is a photo from yesterday that I love. We have had spectacular approaches to the little towns we pass through each day.

Our stats:

Today was a pretty easy day, but tomorrow should be a long challenge! Please send us positive vibes if you think of it.

We finally met another American, Marie from Texas. Lovely gal. Jan left us behind today as he walked 7 Km further to be on pace to meet his wife in a few weeks. He was a great hiking companion and conversationalist.

Here are a few of our favorite photos from today:

Camino countdown:

Chocolate eclairs - 1 that we split. There will be many more.

Falls - 0 (impressively!)

Blisters - Kelli/0, Hailey/0, Susan/1(healing)

Industrial dryers - 1 for the group 😀

First supermarket shopping spree

Most inspirational pilgrims - Mother/Son team from France. They are fast and strong!

Pilgrim most worried about - Young Louis who Kelli spotted reading The Little Prince. He was having a tough time and progressing slowly. (Send positive vibes for Louis🥾)

We are back from our mad dash to the industrial dryer. We are getting ready for a group meal with fellow pilgrims. It smells amazing!

Au revoir! 😘🥖🇫🇷

Clowns, the Joker included, are inherently a human construct. There's always a person underneath the face paint. But when we look at them from afar, we don't actively see another human being – we see a link clown. In that link way, clowns represent an early and lasting example link of the uncanny valley effect.
