Hiking through tiny villages and next to small, beautifully maintained farms was a magical start to our day. We are savoring each kilometer as we near the end of our journey. We have been so fortunate to have had cool weather.
We stopped for a much needed cafe-con-leche and enjoyed watching the parade of pilgrims hiking by.

We greeted Else from Holland who we had met on yesterday's hike. It's so fun to chat with folks with which we have shared the trail. Dee and Susan offered Else a bracelet and her friends looked a bit wistful so bracelets were given all around! Such a nice group of gals!
Just after this video was taken we met a dentist from Stockton who was biking the Camino. He was so polite ringing his bell to warn us and then stopping to visit.
We have arrived in Padron, famous for its peppers which we need to sample tonight. (One in a hundred is super-spicy!). The town has a beautiful cathedral.

Today's hike:

On to Teo tomorrow! Thanks for the love and support.
