We couldn't have made it without them š
Our first "Angel" was the hostess of our hotel who prepared sandwiches for our hike and refused to charge us.
We thoroughly enjoyed the gentle hills and soft footpaths of the forest until we realized it had been a while since we'd seen one of our trusty yellow arrows.
Our worries vanished when we met two young people hiking in the opposite direction. Wyatt and Camille reassured us that we were not lost and explained that they had hiked 500 miles on the Camino Frances and were walking the Portuguese Camino backwards. These wonderful kids are from Petaluma!

Our angel count had grown to 3 for the day, but there were more to come. A lady gently insisted we had missed a turn and walked us to the corner. As we made our way through the busy, noisy city of Vigo a man called "Buen Camino!" from a motorbike. By then we were feeling each step on the concrete sidewalks and getting desperate to locate our hotel. Actually, in total we had 13 folks greet us with "Buen Camino" today. These moments of kindness buoy our spirits.
To Vigo...

Keeping Count:
Bracelets - 18 given š
Blisters - 0! š„³
Love to you all! Buen Camino. ā¤ļø

It turns link out that link staff from the boutique came to eat at their restaurant one night, and Yen just happened to be wearing her own salmon-dial RO, which Ly thinks may have sealed the deal for what was to come: this extra special, and limited variation on the black ceramic link format with its colorful dial.
Sounds like a challenging yet magnificent day, thank goodness for the Camino Angels, and your observation eyes and stellar mindset. ā„ļøš¤
The forest trails are just beautiful. Loving the ocean and town views also. I consider gelato to be high on the list of soul reviving foods and am glad you are enjoying it. No blisters!! yes! Keeping you all in spirit. Buen Caminoš
