We enjoyed a much needed rest day in the lively university city of Burgos. The cathedral there is magnificent.

Today was a comparatively easy hike to Hornillos, a tiny village on the Meseta. Many pilgrims skip over the Meseta because some regard the terrain as monotonous. I figure if I can drive I-5 I can handle miles and miles of farmland.

We followed a group of Italian monks who were on their first pilgrimage. I also reunited with Emilio! He took the photo of me on the upper right. A nun at a tiny church gave me a medallion of a saint that is supposed to protect me on my journey. A day that was supposed to be boring was actually pretty magical! Buen Camino. ❤️

GP link edged Seiko by a link year as the Japanese brand introduced its Lord Matic (we've link covered various Seiko Hi-Beats) and then in 1969, we saw the release of the well-known trio of distinctive hi-beat chronograph movements.

Thanks for the moral support, my friend! Thankfully, my feet seem to be adjusting to the mileage. We have been really lucky with the weather. 😘❤️
