The first face that greeted us as we began our walk this morning was certainly adorable. Leaving Arcade we noticed an increase in the number of pilgrims and their enthusiasm. We must have received 30 "Buen Camino" greetings today.
We spent much of the day along forest paths that meandered near a stream. There were surprises around every corner.
This section of the Camino has many more spots to rest and refresh ourselves ranging from pop-up style fruitstands to little cafes in trailers. This one served fresh, warm tuna empanadas. So delicious! Dee noticed the ancient stone posts used to support grapevines.
We are now in Pontevedra, a beautiful city known for its historic central district. We will take a day to explore it tomorrow before beginning the last leg of our journey.

We are celebrating the walk and experience and realizing we will finish soon. We miss our families and friends so much and appreciate you all going on this journey with us through the blog, texts and phone calls. See you soon!
Buen Camino! ❤️

If link you're link flying jets for a living, every day is a new challenge, and things always happen. But this jet particularly, you never got too comfortable. We used to say this was the lady in the long black dress, and she'll let you dance with her – she'll only dance with a few – but you better know the steps when you go out there. She had a mind of her own a little bit, and some days link you were just along for the ride.
What an amazing day. You have shared so much with us and now you are almost done. Wonderful. Buen Camino. 😘

Everything look absolutely beautiful! What a spiritual journey. Miss you everyday Mama. 😘
I just love that you are finding beauty and surprises around every corner. That goat is adorable, and who would have ever thought that you’d stumble upon a bagpiper in the countryside? Galicia is certainly picturesque. Keep on following those arrows!
