(800 yr old chestnut tree and 2 young gals)

We have hiked 57 miles in the last four days, through rain, wind, fog and sunshine.
We have met wonderful fellow pilgrims, as usual. Cheryl first met Gracie from Brazil when they were both starting off super early one morning. We all took a selfie together at Alto Perdon.

We keep forgetting to snap photos of the folks we meet and whose stories and words of encouragement make the miles fly by. The Wi-Fi at our last hotel was pretty non-existent and I couldn’t update you all, so here are a few highlights:
We are in the Galicia region now, known for lushly forested mountains and frequent rain. We stopped in at a super cool donation only oasis where the owner made me my best cafe con leche of the trip and I got to relax in the sunshine with a local cat.
We just arrived in Sarria, where many pilgrims begin their journey to complete the requisite 100km verification to earn their Compostela. The trails should be much busier from here to Santiago. It should be a big traveling party for the next 6 days until we arrive! Buen Camino ❤️ PS
Here are 2 more photos with folks we have met and enjoyed. The first is with Joe from Texas. He has been at most of our hotels and always has such a great attitude. The second is with Lara Wolf, an actress from Germany traveling solo and sans reservations. She is typical of the adventurous young folks we’ve met.

Four link models feature this new presentation in a 43mm-diameter link case. Two combine link steel with an onyx or silver opaline dial. Two more refined versions combine red gold with ivory or black Grand Feu enamel.
Love the photos!! Both of you are looking great, have fun on the last stretch! I hope you meet lots of interesting people
Thank you again for the wonderful descriptions and photos. You are coming down the home stretch. Enjoy!
You are rock stars!
